TPA YOUTH
TPA JR & Youth is a program for young players with a desire to take their game to the next level. In these sessions we work to build positionless skill sets and habits, while starting to develop our young players’ basketball IQ. Through high level instruction, progression based workouts, and live situational play, our young hoopers will see great growth in their game and confidence!

INCLUDED IN TPA PACKAGE
- Group On-Court Player Development sessions with BTY Basketball.
- Workouts will be designed to help players develop elite level skills and habits as well as the feel and instincts that ensure those skills and habits translate to game action.
- A portion of each workout will be dedicated to individual skill development (ball handling, finishing, shot building).
- Then, players will progress into “situational work,” where we work on becoming impactful players within multiple game actions.
- Groups will consist of 8-12 players.
- Two to four on-court coaches, as well as assistant coaches and volunteers to ensure efficiency during workouts.
- Video & film will be utilized throughout the program.
SMALL GROUP ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE/STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SESSIONS WITH DURABLE ATHLETE.
- Sessions will include a comprehensive mobility warm-up, landing/jumping/sprinting/deceleration technique breakdown, strength training, and stretching decompression to ensure athletes are fully prepared to perform on the court.
- An explicit emphasis will be placed upon each athlete’s quality of movement and injury mitigation to ensure that durability and availability is atop the priority list.
- In order to see consistent and positive growth, it is imperative that athletes understand how they will be exposed to increased or decreased levels of stress throughout different phases of the program.
SMALL GROUP ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE/STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SESSIONS WITH DURABLE ATHLETE.
